Matthew Semler presents the PILOT Trial Results

Welcome to the 568th Critical Care Reviews Newsletter, bringing you the best critical care research and open access articles from across the medical literature over the past seven days. The highlight of this week's edition is the presentation of the PILOT randomised controlled trial, which we held as a livestream on Monday night. This was simultaneously published in the New England Journal of Medicine. The other big news of the week was the presentation and publication of several major trials at the ESICM 2022 Congress in Paris. These trials have been collated in a supplemental newsletter sent on Wednesday night. The SuDDICU trial was presented during this session and was published in JAMA, in combination with a systematic review and meta analysis on selective digestive decontamination, also published in JAMA. We have now released the video of the SuDDICU trial results presentation from CCR22.
